Fade Protection

1. Enemy number one with fading are the Ultra Violet rays from the sun. These rays contribute to 40% of your fade problem – all of our window films block an impressive 99% of the Ultra Violet rays.

2. Enemy number two with fading is heat and light. The Infra Red and Light rays contribute to 50% of your fade problem.

Our Films start at 31% heat reduction with our Clear Film ranging up to 79% heat reduction for the commercial market. Therefore Solar Films can achieve, without changing the appearance of your window, a reduction in fading of up to 69%, increasing to 70-80% with the privacy films used.

MEP Films are metallised and whilst achieved dramatic levels of fade reduction will not darken your home or business. This also means the metallised tints will not fade out or change colour over the years.

Glare Control

Glare is the harmful part of the suns rays that makes it impossible to watch TV, see your computer screen and blur your view. Our films can dramatically cut glare and enhance your view.

Privacy Protection:

This is becoming more and more of a problem in Auckland with homes and businesses being built closer together, losing your privacy. With the installation of semi-reflective solar films, you can enjoy clear views outside and retain your privacy inside during the day. Very useful also when you want to protect your valuables and expensive equipment from prying eyes.

Safety and Security Protection:

Specialised window films are designed to resist penetration and keep the window in place in the event of breakages, caused by burglary, human impact or storms. These films are available in clear or tints and comply with AS/NZ2008 Standard. This is a cost effective substitute for expensive Safety Glass installation.

Safety Film:

Safeguard your environment at home and work with MEP Safety Film.  This will protect your children and loved ones from the dangers of running through glass or injury from broken glass.  MEP Safety Films are designed to absorb impact and resist shattering as they are designed with layers of polyester film bonded with extremely strong mounting adhesives to create a heavy gauge safety barrier.

Safety Film is a much more cost effective option to protect your home or workplace than replacing the glass with Safety Glass.  MEP Safety films meet the AS/NZS2208 Standards.

Security Film:

Security film is a great source of protection for your home or business.  It will help resist an unwelcome intrusion.  Security film will also help protect your property from theft and vandalism.  This film is available in clear or tinted.

Anti Graffiti Film:

Anti Graffiti film provides protection from scratching and general vandalism.  This is generally applied to the exterior of the glass or metal surfaces.  This works well on retail shop fronts, public transport vehicles etc.

Anti Graffiti film is a crystal clear film which allows a clear view to merchandise.  It is a sacrificial film and can be removed and replaced quickly and cost effectively.
